Thanks, my friend, for the virtual beer! Unfortunately, I don't drink even virtual beer. I have nothing against alchohol. I just know I have a very addictive personality, so I'd rather not know what I'm missing, when it comes to booze. My addictions to the internet, TV, DVDs, Cheese, SODA POP (my biggest addiction), and porn are enough addictions for me to deal with.

Tad Seeks His Damsel in Distress
My name is Tad. I am a single male Nudist Christian Poet seeking my Damsel in Distress. Dear Fellow Truth Seekers,
The Sabbath is and has always been from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. Nowhere in the Bible is Sunday called the Sabbath. However, this is also an important passage in my understanding of the Sabbath:
"Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."
--Colossians 2:16-17 (NIV)

It's time for me to write a new blog entry, and only one topic comes to mind:
"nothing"
Nothing is underrated and profound. Consider the Bible verse, "Be still and know that I am God." It's totally counterintuitive to our hectic 21st Century pace of life, but it's still a command from the Almighty.
So, I'm going to stop my philosiphizing, shut up, and simply "be still," and ponder the "nothing" with which God created "everything (including this strange philosopher)."
Scratch that.
One more thought. When God created the universe, he said, "Let there be...," and "it was." Let's pray to him that he would give us that kind of faith.
The irony is that my mood was "apathetic" when I started typing this. God still works miracles ;-)

I have been a nudist activist for so long, it feels kind of strange to have been fully or partially clothed the past few days. It's actually kind of freeing. I have had Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) my whole life, and I'm wondering if maybe "having" to be naked as much as possible may have been one of my obsessions. I still prefer to be naked, but I no longer seem to "hate" clothing like I did until about a week ago.
I also seem to be moving away from using my NudistPoet moniker, in favour of the more universal JTK.CA, no longer feeling the "compulsion" to promote my nudist views. I still hold the views; I'm just feeling much less dogmatic about them.
Nudism is now just one aspect of my life--something that I enjoy. But I seem to be moving away from it being the "dominant" aspect of who I am.

I am still a practicing nudist. I'm just moving away from idolizing the philosophy. I still hold to and agree with the nudist philosophy, but I will not embrace it. I will only embrace Jesus Christ, Son of God, who is not a philosophy but "is" the Truth, just as he claimed.
